All that you will need is : Shiv Ling/Image of Lord Shiva and Parvati, Betel Leaf, Milk, Curd,Honey,Ghee, Sugar (to make Panchamrit), water or Gangajal,white flowers, sandalwood paste, incense sticks, ghee lamp,camphor,fruits & sweets.

Early morning : On waking up, freshen yourself and wear white clothing. State the resolution to fast and do pooja ofLord Shiva and Parvati for the well being of yourself and family.
In day time : Stay peaceful, Chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ throughout the day. Do not argue, think positive the entire day.
Evening : Keep pooja place and clean and wash the house.
Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi :
Take care that Shiv Lingam should wash off after water, Milk and Gangajal one by one while chanting ‘Om Namah Shivaya’. The holy bel tree should offer you after three leaves which you may keep on the Shiv Ling. Light the lamp.
Chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ at least 108 times.
